A little bit about myself….
Hello. My name is Nicole. I am 28 years old (soon to be 29). I have been a registered nurse for over 5 years now. I was born and raised in the mid-west and recently made the move to sunny AZ. I became sick with COVID-19 in November of 2020 and therefore was diagnosed with post-COVID POTS in February 2021. Before my diagnosis of POTS I lived a very active lifestyle of running, hiking, and daily workouts. In February last year I ran a half marathon! I have an amazing boyfriend and two fur babies (one cat/dog) who are all part of my biggest support system in life. As a RN, I want to use this blog as a platform to educate other healthcare workers, along with the community about POTS syndrome. I am hopeful to be an advocate/support system/educator ect, for those whom are also diagnosed with this chronic illness. I hope you enjoy it and can learn something from me 🙂
